Saved favorites are kept in browser localStorage. The favorites view resolves the saved vehicle IDs through the plugin REST endpoint so the displayed list always reflects the current vehicle data.
What this favorite vehicles page demonstrates
Favorite vehicles support longer decision journeys by allowing visitors to return to selected vehicles. The functionality is provided by ADP Car Market Hub and displayed inside the showcase theme.
Customer oriented vehicle shortlist
Visitors can save vehicles of interest and return to review them later. State is managed by the plugin without theme intervention.
Supports return visits
The favorites feature encourages visitors to return and re-engage with their shortlisted vehicles, supporting a longer purchase consideration cycle.
No favorites logic duplicated by the theme
